1962 MGA Mark II Roadster

1962 MGA MKII Roadster, Complete Frame up Restoration Completed and has been in a Scottsdale AZ Collection Since and drivin sparingly!! Show Winner and Concourse Winner!! This is the Final year of the MGA model and it is Fitted with the One Year Only 1622cc Engine, Special Grill and Tailights that only 1962 Cars Carried. This MGA restoration started with a Rust free California Car. It has had a complete rebuild of All Chassis and Drive Train Components. A Full Frame up restoration of this caliber takes hundreds of hours to complete. The car cannot be duplicated for the price offered! The entire interior is New and the Black Leather is a perfect compliment to the Red exterior. The seats are proper shape and feel incredible with the Black leather and Red piping. All interior components are fitted very well!! The dash is vinyl covered as a properly restored 1962 MGA model was done at the factory. Carpetes are new and well fitted. The top frame is painted the proper color and the New Top fits very well! The side curtains are Original and unrestored. The Body was completely removed from the Chassis and Disassembled to allow a proper refinishing of Every Component! Attention was paid to Every Nut and Bolt!! The car was taken down to bare metal before being repainted. The Alloy doors fit very well and the car is finished complete from top to bottom and inside!! The Paint is Excellent and has a smooth gloss finish!! The Chrome is all new or excellent condition, including the windscreen has been re-chromed and glass replaced. The Chassis was stipped down to the Last Nut and Bolt and all components were examined, cleaned, rebuilt, or replaced with new. This included a full suspension rebuild including shocks front and rear. All Perishable Rubber Components were replaced. Every component was painted before being assembled and installed. The entire chassis and all suspension components were powder coated to insure the restoration remains fresh for many years! Upgraded 60 Spoke Chrome Wire Wheels with a set of Proper Fitted Tires. The 1622cc Engine was completely rebuilt with new pistons, cam, lifters, arp head studs, and fully balanced. It has been updated to run on unleaded gas. The transmission has been fully rebuilt and shifts excellent! All brake components are new or rebuilt. Fuel pump and all Electrical components were replaced with new as needed. An entire New electical wiring loom has been fitted in the car. All the dash gauges and components are working properly. The Engine starts with ease and runs excellent. The Carbs are tuned excellent. This car is a very year as it is the final production year for the MGA. 1962 has some One year only features that distinguish it from the Earlier year MGA's.
